Toronto Pride Parade 2023

Pride Toronto features a lively Pride weekend (with over one million attendees expected for 2023). The weekend includes a Family Pride program, Trans Pride, the Dyke March, and their well-known Pride Parade.

Washington DC Pride Parade 2023

Washington DC Pride (Capital Pride Alliance) is one of DC’s top LGBTQ+ events and celebrates its community through entertainment, community outreach, and diversity. Every year, this organization puts together Capital Pride, with a famous collection of events like the Pride Parade, Festival, and Concert.

London Pride Parade 2023

Zurich Pride Parade 2023

Zurich Pride is a political gathering of the LGBTQ+ community in Switzerland. There will be celebrations on Friday and Saturday, offering various artists and LGBTQ+ organizations on two stages. There will also be information stands and fantastic food and drink. 

Dublin Pride Parade 2023

In 1983, the first major LGBTQ+ protest march occurred in Dublin. The Dublin Lesbian & Gay Collective put on this protest as a response to the release of the murderers of a gay man (Declan Flynn). Ever since, Dubliners have been marching to support LGBTQ+ rights, and Pride Week brings people together with meet-ups, parties, speakers, and more.

In addition, 7,000 people from over 150 different groups featuring floats, marching bands, and colorful costumes will kick off the parade. 

Johannesburg Pride Parade 2023

Johannesburg Pride has run with over 30 years of advocacy and is one of the most established and attended Pride events in South Africa. This organization also created Pride of Africa: a platform and voice for a diverse community, with a lifestyle conference and youth shelter. 

Mexico City Pride Parade 2023

Mexico City Gay Pride (Marcha del Orgullo LGBT de la Ciudad de México) is one of Latin America’s most significant, wild, and fun Pride events. This pride event occurs every June, attracting over one million people. 

Mexico City is famous for its lively LGBTQ+ scene, so they take their Pride celebrations to the next level. 

Sydney Pride Parade 2023

Sydney Pride is an LGBTQ+ Mardi Gras festival featuring LGBTQ+ art, films, trivia, debates, sports, fundraising, and club events. The event already took place, and they held WorldPride, which is 17 days of honoring the 50th Australian Gay Pride Week, and 45th Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Athens Pride Parade 2023

Athens PRIDE is the largest gathering of the LGBTQ+ community and allies in the area. In June of each year, Athens PRIDE Street Festival takes place. After the street festival, they will provide smaller events.

Metro Manila Pride Parade 2023

Metro Manila Pride is a non-profit organization that provides safe, affirming, educational, and empowering spaces for LGBTQ+ people in Manila. The event takes place throughout the day at the Marikina Sports Center in Marikina City. Admission to the event is free, but attendees need to register in advance. 

San Francisco Pride Parade 2023

San Francisco Pride will celebrate “Generations of Resistance.” At this event, you can participate in two days of engagement and entertainment featuring a full lineup on the main and community stages.

San Francisco Pride is one of the longest-running and most notable LGBTQ+ parades worldwide. Participants march through the city, along Market Street, with more than 100,000 attendees. 

Reykjavik Pride Parade 2023

Reykjavik Pride is celebrating its 24th anniversary. This event will take place for ten days (instead of its usual six), with an opening ceremony. After that, the schedule will include a Pride Parade, an outdoor festival, and a massive Pride Party.

Tel Aviv Pride Parade 2023

Referred to as the gay capital of the Middle East, Tel Aviv puts on Tel Aviv Pride yearly, a week-long series of fun events. Every summer, people of every gender, religion, and color gather for this celebration of acceptance and joy.

The parade will begin at 10 am this year with a huge fair. Then, later in the evening, there will be a parade of artists and DJ sets with food stands and colorful Pride merch. Finally, the parade will end at the Charles Clore Garden, where thousands of people can watch live shows, meet in bars, and enjoy a fantastic view of the city’s blue beach.

São Paulo Pride Parade 2023

Sao Paulo Pride features the largest Pride parade in the world (with over 3.5 million attendees). It will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2023. Dating app Grindr gave Sao Paulo Pride the title of the best parade in 2012, so it’s always a good time at this Pride celebration. 

Stockholm Pride Parade 2023

Pride: August 3 – August 6, 2023

Stockholm Pride is now the biggest LGBTQ+ event in Scandinavia and the most significant annual event in Stockholm. Its activities and events occur in three primary areas: Pride HousePride Park, and Pride Parade.

Each year, about half a million people attend the Stockholm Pride Parade. 

Shanghai Pride Parade 2023

In 2023, Shanghai Gay Pride will celebrate its tenth birthday. Since all political demonstrations are prohibited in China, Shanghai Gay Pride will not have a Pride parade. However, the organizers put together a fun-filled 10-day program with events like films, a ‘pink picnic,’ bike ride, run, dance party, barbecue, and photo exhibition.
