Vivian Wilson, the Tesla CEO daughter, made her debut drag performance at the Bellwether in Los Angeles. Musk’s transgender daughter hit the stage Friday night in a show dubbed “SAVE HER – an Environmental Drag Show” organized by Pattie Gonia to raise legal defense money for immigrants impacted by federal raids. The performance is one of Vivian’s most public appearances since she cut legal ties with her father in 2022 and took her mother’s maiden name.
Vivian Wilson Stuns the Crowd with Stage Performance
As expected, Vivian didn’t disappoint when she took the stage during the SAVER HER! An Environmental Drag Show. For her performance, Vivian Wilson wore a sleek, skintight black bodysuit and translucent corset, which she made complete with a futuristic makeup look.
She performed a lip-synced piece, bending and twisting her body which made the crowd go frenzy. The audience members gave her a loud applause when she ended her performance.
The model reposted her performance clips on her Instagram Stories. Some audience members said that she slayed on her drag debut while others called her performance “lethal.”
Money Raised Went into Supporting Immigrants Facing Deportation
The L.A. performance wasn’t just any performance. Pattie Gonia organized SAVE HER to raise money for legal defense for immigrants facing deportation. As such, the money raised went into supporting people affected by recent federal immigration raids in the United States.
Other artists who performed in the drag night include Jacob Ostler, Skirt Cocaine, Nini Coco, Trudy Tective, and Noxxia Datura. However, it was Vivian Wilson who stole all the spotlight with her electric drag debut performance.
Musk’s Daughter on How Parents Reacted When She Revealed Her Gender Identity
The Friday performance comes a few months after Vivian revealed her parent’s reaction to her coming out as transgender in a story for Teen Vogue.
Vivian says her mom Justine was more supportive than her dad when she revealed her gender identity in 2020. She adds that her mom is a published writer of supernatural romance fiction, which can explain all her Vivian-isms.
As for her father, Vivian says that the Tesla CEO wasn’t as supportive as her mother. She added that they had not talked in months but she had to get parental consent to get hormone replacement therapy.
On his part, Elon said that he was tricked into allowing Wilson to undergo gender-affirming treatment, a claim that Wilson has denied.
Vivian Wilson Criticizes His Father Publicly
Musk’s daughter continues to distance herself from her father and has been seen criticizing him publicly, one of them being when he responded to his transphobic social media comment with a classic quote from RuPaul’s Drag Race “I look pretty good for a dead b—-.”
Wilson is the daughter of Elon Musk and Justine Wilson. However, she cut her legal ties with the SpaceX CEO in 2022 and adopted his mother’s legal name after his father appeared to be not so supportive of her being transgender.
Since then, Vivian has publicly distanced herself from her Father with the recent being her reaction to the fallout between Elon Musk and President Trump. In an interview with Versha Sharma, an editor at Teen Vogue regarding her dad’s breakup with Trump, she reacted with a simple squidward meme.
But Vivian didn’t stop there. She made fun of his father on social media. On June 6, she shared a video of her laughing on Instagram with the caption “I love being proven right.” She also shared posts on Meta writing “Such beauty in Life.” and another “The weather is so lovely today.” All these seemed to be directed at the fallout between his billionaire father and Trump.
Vivian’s Story Reveals the Need for Family, Societal, and Mental Support
Despite being the daughter of the world’s richest man, Wilson went through what many transgender teens go through when they come out. Lack of support from parents, siblings, and community in general. Despite this, she takes her time to help others in need and uses her platform to advocate for the rights of transgender individuals.
This has been our goal at LGBTQ and All – ensuring that all individuals (regardless of gender) get the support they need before and after they come out. We do this by providing helpful mental health resources for all genders. We also list compassionate therapists and psychologists ready to offer mental support to all individuals without judgment.
