Lauren Humby
Lauren Humby received her Master of Physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie University in 2023, preceded by a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Acadia in 2018. Her career choices reflect a personal commitment to physical performance. She was an elite rugby athlete at Acadia University, winning Rookie of the Year in 2014, and was instrumental in Acadia’s AUS championship win in 2015. Estelle Barry
Estelle Barry, MClSc(PT), is a senior-level physiotherapist with a wide range of experience in private practice. She has advanced certifications in posture analysis and correction strategies and is passionate about posture dysfunction’s fundamental role in most muscle and joint pain presentations. Her early experience in the military taught her the value of working as a team.
Adeboye Adebayo
In 2007, Adeboye Adebayo received a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree (B.PT) from the esteemed University of Lagos, Nigeria. He then worked in Nigeria for seven years as a Physiotherapist in an inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy clinic setting, treating patients with various conditions like orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, neurological, and musculoskeletal.
In 2015, he moved to Newfoundland to continue his passion for helping people. In 2018, he completed his Master’s in Kinesiology (exercise and work physiology) from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He also volunteered in the neuroscience lab at the Miller Center in 2016. In addition, he has worked as a fitness evaluator with Progressive Athletic Therapy, providing fitness testing for firefighters in the Avalon area.
He joined Avalon Laser Health Physiotherapy and Wellness in May of 2021, combining all his education and interests to help our clients achieve their goals.

I had Acupuncture with Heather and it was amazing. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything and made me feel at ease. Definitely would recommend.
