Individual Therapy

Therapists at Blooming Rose Therapy use connection, compassion, and safety to help you overcome stress, anxiety, and depression. We travel your journey to understand your problems and create a personalized solution to help you explore yourself on a deeper level.

Here are some of the approaches we use for individual therapy:

  • Relational Therapy
  • Attachment-Based Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

EMDR

We use EMDR to stimulate the brain to help process traumatic experiences and re-integrate these experiences into the memory network. This can be ideal for you if you want to explore a deeper understanding of yourself and heal from core issues like disbelief in yourself.

Our therapists use this approach to treat various issues, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD)
  • Depression
  • Nightmares
  • Addictions
  • Phobias
  • Grief and loss

Youth Therapy

One in every five youths in Ontario experiences a mental challenge. At Blooming Rose Therapy, we commit ourselves to helping youths overcome societal and family pressures, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. Other issues we can help youths with include eating disorders, identity issues, family trauma, relationship issues, motivation, etc.
