Business Overview

As a compassionate therapist, educator and consultant, I provide my clients with a safe, accepting space to alleviate shame, heal trauma and discover their innate inner resilience. My approach is rooted in anti-racism, social justice and liberatory frameworks; an unwavering belief in the healing power of safe connection; and a deep knowing that sustained relationship to nature plays a major role in human healing.

I offer individual and group therapy to adults and young people who are thoughtful and curious – people ready to gain a deeper understanding of their experiences, identities and internalized beliefs so they can move to feel more connected and whole. I use a beautiful blend of relational therapy, Brené Brown’s Daring Way, ecotherapy and interpersonal neurobiology to help folks address the big stuff: relational trauma; coming out; systemic oppression; and shame held by white-bodied people.

Connection and kinship with nature and more-than-human animals is at the heart of my work with horses and people. I draw on my experience practicing equine-assisted therapy, and on more than 20 years of working with horses, to support other horse owners, riders and therapists. I help them gain deeper personal insight, so they feel empowered to shift away from oppressive practices and move toward more ethical, connected ways to engage with the horses they love.

The thread of healing is woven into my work as a social justice educator. Through consulting and educational training, I help my clients understand their experiences and beliefs in the context of systemic oppression and learn how to participate in meaningful dialogue for change.
