Business Overview:

I am a licensed professional counselor in Connecticut with over 11 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I hold various certifications, including Psychiatric Mental Health First Aid from Johns Hopkins University and certification as a Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP). I have worked with clients with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, chronic illness and chronic pain, family conflict, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I have also co-led a support group for LGBTQ individuals and have led group therapy for middle and high school students and college students, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My goal is to invest myself in constantly learning to provide my clients with the most well-rounded, specific, holistic care.

I am a trauma and crisis trained professional who has worked with emergency mobile psychiatric services for several years. I began my career working on Yale Children’s Hospital Psychiatric Inpatient Unit and continue to attend the latest training on crisis management, trauma, anxiety, chronic illness, and chronic pain, in addition to the training that includes the newest modalities of treatment for these conditions. I combine holistic and conventional methods tailored to your individual need. I am happy to speak with the mental health and medical professionals you are working with to coordinate your care to enhance your healing. In addition to my continued training in mental health services, I am trained in EFT (tapping) and am a level 1 Reiki practitioner.

I truly feel every person has unique magic within them, and if they can locate and believe in their strengths, they can begin to be empowered to help them cope with disruptive symptoms. I am happy and honored to be a person to help them see the light within them.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines a humanistic approach that believes in unconditional positive regard and cognitive-behavioral, Adlerian, and solution-focused theory. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I want you to know you deserve peace with the core of who you are and peace with how you feel. Let’s talk about how we can walk the path to peace together.
