Dr. Maria Ingalla, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Maria Ingalla (formerly Kennedy) is a board-certified nurse practitioner for family psychiatric mental health with years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. She has spent the last several years in community mental health. She has also worked and trained extensively in perinatal mental health, receiving certification from Postpartum Support International as a Peripartum Mental Health professional.
Maria is currently a mental health professor at Arizona State University in the prelicensure nursing program. She also precepts Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Students for various schools across the country.
Maria earned a bachelor of science in Public Health at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst followed by her bachelor of science, master’s in nursing at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, and her doctorate in nursing practice at UMass, Amherst.
Maria previously served as a psychiatric consultant across the country for pediatricians, primary care doctors and OB/GYNs to assist in managing the mental health of complex patients.
