Business Overview

Summer Forlenza she/her, LMFT

I help people to heal from disordered eating and painful body image so that they can experience joy and connection in their life.

My clinical expertise includes treating the effects of trauma, healing from disordered eating and body image concerns, and building more safe, loving and connected relationships.

I developed an interest in treating trauma and disordered eating through therapy while teaching and deepened this exploration during my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. I pursued training in EMDR Therapy while in graduate school and completed training and gained experience while working in community mental health, on school campuses, and in eating disorder treatment centers.

I truly love my work and feel grateful to spend every day serving those in recovery and witnessing transformation and growth
