It all began with an idea! Evidence-based care focused on outcomes specific to the needs of the communities that it serves. Born out of necessity, Diverse Practice was founded on this principle. Most current models of care and treatment protocols were never designed with the needs of diverse clients in mind—vaguely, if ever, at all, aligning with the unique demands, culture, or values of each of these cohorts—while missing or discounting our resilience and shared “Other” experience.

We all have a story to tell and I want to hear yours. We are more than what meets the eye. We are whole human beings with experiences that, for better or worse, have shaped our lives. Compassion and empathy are key components to how I connect and work with clients. Share your story with me and let’s work on getting past hurdles that affect your daily living and bring you to a better place.
