Well, Gainesville Community Counseling Center is a not-for-profit (501(c)3) mental health agency providing exceptional counseling and personal development services to individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Our therapists incorporate evidence-based, cutting-edge tools into their work with clients, and every client receives individualized care based on their needs and goals.
Our vision is to make our services accessible to the community, so we partner with area schools, businesses, churches, and other community organizations to provide professional development training, seminars, workshops, and counseling groups for students. We empower people to reach their spiritual, relational, and emotional potential through exceptional counseling and personal development services.

We also provide anger management group therapy – a 13-session group for those who need help with anger management. Group participants are given weekly homework. Each week focuses on learning anger management skills like relaxation, communication, and cognitive skills. Learning can be hands-on, in person, or in group meetings. Weekly meeting time is on Wednesdays at 2 pm. The price per session is $40. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions to complete the program.

Dr Larry Green is one of the kindest and most open minded people I have ever met. I highly recommend this center to anyone in need of counseling services. The center is meant to bring counseling to anyone in need, and provides services at a very low cost for anyone that has to pay out of pocket.
I do not recommend this practice if you have severe mental health issues that require urgent and consistent therapy. I was unable to get consistent appointments at the frequency I needed and did not receive any meaningful help from my counselor.
But also, at least the online platform for making appointments is easy to use. You won’t get an appointment for three weeks, but at least the website is competent. :-)
Rude and lied about how much they owe me in a refund. Their receptionist doesn’t know how to talk to people either. Y’all are horrible . I don’t want to give any stars
