Background
Hi, my name is Austin. While fitness and good physical health are very important to me I also enjoy a lot of outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and being out on the lake. Being around and helping people are also very important to me. I like being that “big brother” to anyone who could use one. I enjoy listening to people and indulging in deep conversation, especially when I can help people overcome obstacles in their life or just give them a word of encouragement to brighten their day.
When I was younger I was constantly made fun of for being skinny and told by people to eat more or that I would just never be able to size because it just wasn’t in my genetics and that I was wasting my time dreaming about achieving the physique of the people you see all over social media. I was also not allowed to go to the gym until I was 18 and old enough to make my own choices. Through this and many other challenges thrown my way throughout college; I never lost sight of my dream.
In September of 2020, I decided it was time to really grind and allow the lifestyle I wanted to live to envelop me completely and I finally allowed it to truly change my life in every aspect. Since then my physical appearance hasn’t been the only thing to change. My self-confidence has grown exponentially. I slowly began to seek out less and less gratification from other people’s opinions and began to become happier with who I was as a person. Along with this I always had a lot of pent-up anger and emotion that I hid by drinking a lot. But with this change in my life that all went away, along with my desire to drink anymore; helping me live a happier and better lifestyle.
